Webinar 1: Practice and Theory of Leadership/Collaboration
You will learn:
  • Proven leadership and collaboration strategies employed in schools and businesses.
  • How to recognize your own strengths and contributions as a team leader and collaborator
  • Key leadership strategies of the experts in leadership and collaboration: Steven Covey, Hersey, and Blanchard, Dennis Sparks, and "Oracle of Omaha" [Warren Buffet].

Webinar 2: Contribution and Rewards of Contribution and Leadership
You will learn:
  • Results of a self assessment of your own contributions as leader and collaborator You will identify past and current examples of how you have provided leadership and collaboration leading to positive outcomes and a feeling of accomplishment.
  • To identify your own comfort level with leading and supporting initiatives in your sphere of influence.
  • Both formal and informal leadership and collaboration strategies
All participants will complete a personal assessment of leadership and collaboration traits prior to the next webinar using Strength Based Leadership - Strength Finder 2.0 authored by Tom Roth and Barry Gorchie, published by Gallup Press in 2008.* A copy of the book will be sent to you immediately after you register for the webinar.

Webinar 3: Celebrating and Affirming Personal Strength
Celebrating individual leadership traits will begin the third webinar. Once the individual strengths have been shared and discussed . . .
You will learn:
  • To tie the theory and practice of leadership and collaboration shared in the initial webinar with your own strengths found on the Strength Based Leadership Strength Finder 2.0
  • How to link the collaborator needs to complement each of the leadership strengths
  • How to recognize the importance of collaborative strength, together with leadership
The final activity of this session will be to begin the identification of a project or initiative you believe will result in a positive outcome for themselves and their students.

Webinar 4: Building Confidence, Theory and Action Plan
You will learn:
  • How to apply the skills, knowledge and attitudes gained regarding leadership and collaboration from earlier webinars, self assessment, and needs assessment to develop an action plan with the goal of improving some aspect of teaching and/or learning.
  • Jerry will assist with the development of action plans for improvement including the key elements for 'collaboration' and 'leadership' augmented by a matrix of goal, personnel, resource, timeline and progress monitoring.
